My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1999 in Brooklyn and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 14 years later for another job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Parker
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Parker: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
