I coached wrestling at Latina Community Club from 2009 to 2020. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Paolo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
