Ouma Okello Mugisha
Classical and folk music teacher
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Jinja Choir
- 1986 to 1994
- English
I play classical and folk music. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Ouma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Jinja Choir.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
