Ouma Mussa Bakari
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Nairobi Works
- Since 2014
- English, Swahili
I'm a painting and decorating specialist. If you live around Nairobi, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Ouma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ouma: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
