Athumani Opio Lyimo
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Brookfield Workshop
- Since 2001
- English, Swahili
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 2001 in Kisumu and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
Thank you for stopping by.

What gifts mean to Athumani: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
