I taught English literature at Mbale Academy in Mbale from 1985 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Otieno
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Otieno: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me English literature in 2025 at Mbale Academy. I still remember the rainy sports day.
