Mr. Mrema
30 years teaching physics in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Redwood High School
- Since 2002
- English
I teach physics at Redwood High School in Kampala since 2002. Most days I teach Year 10, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 860 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Mrema
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mrema: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
