Otieno Lyimo
Sculpture and oil painting artist
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- The Jinja Studio
- 2011 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 2011 at The Jinja Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Jinja Studio, which keeps me honest.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Otieno
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Otieno: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
