Orla MacKenna
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Dublin Workshop
- 2014 to 2023
- English
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 2014 in Dublin and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
What gifts mean to Orla: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
