Orla A. Bell
28 years teaching mathematics at Limerick Polytechnic
- 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
- Since 2005
- English
I teach mathematics at Limerick Polytechnic since 2005, and supervised 50 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Orla
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Orla: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
