Dermot H. Reid
Retired mathematics lecturer
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Fairview University
- 1978 to 1987
- English
I taught mathematics at Fairview University from 1978 to 1987, and supervised 18 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dermot
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Dermot: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
