I teach political science at Dar es Salaam State University since 1986, and supervised 57 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Opio: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
