Opio Odhiambo Kato
Coached badminton for 35 years in Gulu
- 🇺🇬 Gulu, Northern Region, Uganda
- Gulu Harbor Community Club
- Since 1991
- English, Swahili
I've coached badminton at Gulu Harbor Community Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
What gifts mean to Opio: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
