I coached chess at St. Anne's Boxing Gym from 2013 to 2024. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Opio: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
