I coached tennis at Mwanza Rosewood Boxing Gym from 1980 to 1988. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
