Odhiambo Athumani Kigozi
Self-taught sculpture artist
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Lotus Studio
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2000 at Lotus Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Lotus Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Odhiambo
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Odhiambo: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
