Ochieng Mwende
Keeper of the community outreach
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Reading Room
- 1985 to 2021
- English
For 36 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Kasarani Reading Room.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ochieng
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Ochieng: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
