Ochieng Juma Omondi

Rowing coach, Kinondoni Community Club

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kinondoni Community Club
  • Since 1993
  • English, Swahili
I've coached rowing at Kinondoni Community Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Ochieng

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Ochieng: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
