Nyambura Mukasa
Taught chemistry at Dar es Salaam Girls' School
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 2015 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I taught chemistry at Dar es Salaam Girls' School in Dar es Salaam from 2015 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 310 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Nyambura
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Nyambura: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
