One semester away: help Mitu graduate from Gazipur Polytechnic
Mitu is one semester away from finishing a teaching qualification but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $350.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Gazipur Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Gazipur Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $25
• Outstanding tuition balance: $180
• Final term tuition: $145
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
good luck. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Gazipur!
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mitu
Textbooks and materials is $25 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
Praying for you, Mitu. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. All the best
Hang in there, Mitu. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to Berlin so I could bring a meal
you're not alone, Mitu. This could happen to any of us. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too
take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out
