Nolan G. Butler
Law school mentor, Ballarat
- 🇦🇺 Ballarat, Victoria, Australia
- Ballarat Foundation
- 2010 to 2025
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 750 people through Ballarat Foundation.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Nolan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
