Nnamdi Tayo Yakubu
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Trades Guild
- Since 2008
- English
I've worked in plumbing since 2008. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Nnamdi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nnamdi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
