Njeri Grace Kessy
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- The Mount Pleasant Shop
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
I've worked in plumbing since 2000. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 940 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Njeri
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Njeri: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
