For nine years I have been the Spanish teacher at Galle Girls' School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Niluka
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
