I've coached baseball at Dehiwala St. Joseph's Youth Club since 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Niluka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
