Nicolás J. Guzmán
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico
- Mérida Trades Guild
- Since 1997
- English, Spanish, French
I've worked in tiling since 1997. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,680 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
More about Nicolás
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Nicolás: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
