Netsanet Wolde
Coached rowing for 15 years in Hawassa
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Hawassa Community Club
- 1990 to 2005
- English, Amharic
For 15 years I ran the rowing program at Hawassa Community Club in Hawassa. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Netsanet
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Netsanet: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
