Neelam G. Negi
Coached chess for 29 years in Dwarka
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- St. Joseph's Youth Club
- Since 1997
- English, Hindi
For 29 years I've run the chess program at St. Joseph's Youth Club in Dwarka. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Neelam
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Neelam: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Nottingham.
