Local painting and decorating and carpentry
- 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
- Mbarara Trades Guild
- Since 1992
- English, Swahili
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1992. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,900 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Naliaka
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Naliaka: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
