Nabirye Nabirye Mwende

Youth volleyball coach and mentor

  • 2008 to 2025
  • English, Swahili
I coached volleyball at Dar es Salaam Riverside Boxing Gym from 2008 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Nabirye

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

You coached me in 2008. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Bristol.
