Welding for 44 years in Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Works
- Since 1982
- English, Swahili
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1982 in Kisumu and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mwende
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Mwende: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
