Ms. Zoysa
19 years teaching special education in Dehiwala
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Parkside High School
- 1981 to 2000
- English, Sinhala, Spanish
For 19 years I was the special education teacher at Parkside High School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Zoysa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Zoysa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me special education in 1983 at Parkside High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on Truly.
