I teach special education at Jaffna Technical College in Jaffna since 2014. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rajapaksa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
