I taught chemistry at Holy Cross Academy in Caloocan from 2000 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.

What gifts mean to Ms. Pineda: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
