Ms. Mendis
Retired biology teacher from Redwood High School
- 🇱🇰 Galle, Southern, Sri Lanka
- Redwood High School
- 1992 to 2003
- English, Sinhala
I taught biology at Redwood High School in Galle from 1992 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Ms. Mendis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mendis: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
