Ms. Martinez
32 years teaching history in Bacolod
- 🇵🇭 Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines
- Since 2010
- English, Filipino
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Martinez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Martinez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
