I taught statistics at Bamboo Middle School in Makati from 1981 to 2007. Most days I taught Year 10, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lacson: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
