I taught economics at Stonebridge Grammar School in Jeddah from 1993 to 2004. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
