For 17 years I have been the drama teacher at Mecca Girls' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Cherif
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
