I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Demir
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Demir: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me accounting in 2016 at Queensway Middle School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
