I taught French at Negombo Girls' School in Negombo from 2016 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mrs. Wijesinghe
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
