Mrs. Salim
Teacher at Jinja Girls' School, loves special education
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Since 2007
- English, Swahili
For 19 years I have been the special education teacher at Jinja Girls' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Salim
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
