I teach biology at Lakeview Secondary School in Santa Fe since 2003. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Peña
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
