Mrs. Athumani
Economics and physical education teacher, Fort Portal
- 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
- Fort Portal Middle School
- Since 1985
- English, Swahili
For 41 years I have been the economics teacher at Fort Portal Middle School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mrs. Athumani
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Athumani: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
