Mrs. Abeysekera
Taught French at Silverlake Grammar School
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Silverlake Grammar School
- 2012 to 2025
- English
I taught French at Silverlake Grammar School in Colombo from 2012 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Abeysekera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Abeysekera: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
