Mr. Yapa
Special education and music teacher, Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Lakeview Secondary School
- Since 2013
- English, Sinhala, Spanish
I teach special education and music at Lakeview Secondary School, Negombo. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 770 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Yapa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yapa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
