Mr. Yapa
12 years teaching agriculture in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Hope Middle School
- Since 2012
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Mr. Yapa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yapa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
