Mr. Uy
38 years teaching computer science in Davao City
- 🇵🇭 Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- Davao City Academy
- 1999 to 2022
- English, Filipino
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Mr. Uy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Uy: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
