Mr. Silva

30 years teaching home economics in Colombo

  • 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Lincoln Middle School
  • 1997 to 2015
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm still learning every day.

You taught me home economics in 2018 at Lincoln Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Greetings from San Jose.
