Mr. Opio
History and statistics teacher, Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Primary School
- Since 1984
- English
For 42 years I have been the history teacher at Mukono Primary School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Mr. Opio
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Opio: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
